Street Level does its best to express Christianity in a simple way that doesn’t lose its meaning or power. This is particularly important in evangelism and in explaining orthodox theology as Church culture has developed its own jargon that uses words not in common usage and certainly not familiar to those on the fringes.

As a result Street Level tries to operate using language and concepts that a able to be explained and understood. In effect we translate orthodox theology in ways that we think will explain complex doctrine into understandable words and concepts.

In worship we try to keep it simple encouraging regular Bible reading and discussion, real and honest confession of sins and an open admission of problems in our lives and prayer to live Godly lives. This gives a authentic and biblical focus of worship that suits the house church model.

And it is both understandable and encouraging to those from the fringes as they learn the basics and are helped find a spiritual home in the established church community.
